02BrakesPads, rotors, calipers, fluid, and the grinding you've been turning the radio up to cover.
03Batteries · StartersTesting first tells us whether it's the battery or the alternator. Often enough it's the alternator.
04Oil · Fluids · FiltersOil, coolant, brake and transmission fluid, filters. We haul the old oil out with us.
05Tune-upsA cylinder quits and you feel it through the seat. Usually plugs or coils.
06Suspension · CoolingStruts and bushings for the clunking. Thermostats, hoses, water pumps and radiators for the gauge that keeps climbing.
07Pre-buy inspectionsWe look a used car over before you pay for it, with you and the seller standing there.
